Peel River Watershed

The Peel River watershed in Northern Yukon is an enormous wilderness full of beauty, wildlife and history. It is a land to be treasured and protected, one of the world's largest untouched wilderness areas. The watershed is home to four First Nations; Tr'ondek Hwech'in, Tetlit Gwich'in, Na-Cho Nyak Dun, and Vuntut Gwich'in who all want to see it protected. It is a place worth visiting.

The Peel River watershed contains 6 wilderness watersheds that are tributaries feeding clean water in to the Peel. They include the Ogilive, Blackstone, Hart, Wind, Bonnet Plume and Snake Rivers.
